CARE INFO:
GENERAL:
This information is relevant to all jewelry created by Simplicated Jewelry and will help you keep your items clean and safe.
Please avoid letting items come in contact with cosmetics and perfume.
Please remove large items before going to bed and keep them in their box when not in use.
FOR GEMSTONES:
Gemstones, especially organic gems such as pearls, coral and opals, are damaged easily by chemicals and hard forces. Please clean organic stones with water only. Other gems may be cleaned in warm water with dish detergent and a new very soft bristle toothbrush. When not in use, keep in a safe closed box.
FOR GOLD ITEMS:
Items made of solid gold are durable and rarely tarnish. They may loose their luster from dirt or soap buildup.
To clean, soak in a bowl with warm water and dish detergent, clean gently with a new very soft bristle tooth brush.
FOR GOLD PLATED ITEMS (select items):
Items are made of Sterling Silver and plated with high micron nickel free gold plating. Plating is durable and safe for use. Proper care should keep items beautiful for years. Please follow general care instructions and do no attempt to scratch or bend items. For any issues with plated items please contact me. Plating may be renewed at cost. The warranty for plating is two years.
FOR SILVER ITEMS:
Sterling Silver may tarnish over time, especially when not in use or when exposed to certain cosmetic products and cleaners.
To remove tarnish first soak in warm water with dish detergent, clean gently with a new soft bristle toothbrush and then clean with specialized silver cleaning solutions according to manufacturer instructions.
FOR OXIDIZED SILVER:
These items are made of Sterling Silver and oxidized to achieve a dark grey-black finish. These items are coated with a unique food safe coating to prolong color and shine. Over time color and coating may erode on areas subject to constant contact and reveal a dark antique finish to the silver. If re-oxidization is needed please contact me.
Cleaning should be very gentle in warm soapy water.
CAN ORDERS BE CUSTOMIZED?
Yes. All items are handmade and most can be customized in size, length and materials. Please contact me with any questions.
WHAT ARE TURNAROUND TIMES?
Everything in my shop is made by hand. Depending on the item, orders are usually ready to ship within 7 business days, if not sooner. Items are shipped with a tracking number and times vary on location and method. You are welcome to send me a message for more specific times.

IS EXPRESS SHIPPING AVAILABLE?
Express shipping is available for most products and selected countries. You may select express shipping at checkout. If you need a rush order please contact me for further details.

IS GIFT WRAPPING AVAILABLE?
All items are sent in a pretty box ready to be given as a gift and free of charge. Additional gift wrapping is available for purchase and includes a gift bag, tissue paper, and a gift card. Please include your message at checkout and let me know if the shipping and billing address are the same.
WHAT IS OXIDIZED SILVER?
Oxidized silver items are dark-grey to black in color. These items are coated with a food safe lacquer to prolong color. Dark oxidization color of sterling silver will wear over time, revealing the natural silver beneath and creating a beautiful unique finish. Oxidation can be easily renewed using several methods at home or your local jewelry store.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
I gladly accept returns and exchanges for all items except custom orders.
To return/ exchange an item please contact me within: 14 days of delivery. Items need to be shipped back within: 30 days of delivery.
Refunds or exchanges can only be completed after the original item has been received.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Cancellations - cancellations are accepted up to 12 hours from purchase and only if item has not been shipped.

Standard registered shipping is available to most destinations. Shipping times vary based on location and any local regulation such as customs. Standard shipping times vary between 7 and 21 business days (exceptions may occur).
Express shipping upgrades are available at an additional charge. Express shipping times vary due to location between 2 to 4 business days.
CAN ORDERS BE CUSTOMIZED?
As the sole maker, I welcome customizations and adaptations to ensure each piece is a perfect personal expression for you. Please contact me with your ideas so we can discuss what is possible.
Please note: Since custom pieces are handcrafted specifically for you, any cancelled or exchanged custom orders will incur a 30% fee to cover materials and labor.

Please note that any order to destination outside of the USA may be subject to import duties and tax and is regulated by the importing country at the time the shipment arrives. Relevant duties, fees, and any additional charges for custom clearance are the responsibility of the buyer.

All personal information is used solely for fulfilling orders and is not shared with any third party with the exception of shipping couriers.
Mailing list information is kept private and will not be shared, or sold, to any third party.
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
Payment options are processed through the Etsy platform and checkout service.
What does "SCS-Certified 100% Recycled" mean?
SCS Global Services is a leader in third-party environmental auditing. When a metal is SCS-Certified, it means an independent auditor has verified the entire supply chain to ensure that the gold or silver is truly 100% recycled.
This means that instead of being newly mined from the earth, the precious metals are reclaimed from existing sources, such as: old jewelry, electronics or industrial scraps and such.
Sourcing from responsible sources means that this refined gold and silver are chemically identical regardless of their origin. You get the same brilliant luster, durability, and purity—just without the environmental footprint of traditional mining.
The raw materials I use are NEW, however refined from materials that were NOT newly mined.
How else do I create a sustainable product?
Other than using recycled new material in more than 90% of my products.
I ship using compostable materials and materials created from recycled materials.
I aim to minimized, re-claim and re-cycle all materials in use from creating my products while continuing to look for solutions with lower carbon footprints while keeping a high standard product and customer experience.
